Great Room Swap 2011

In preperation for baby #3 we had to do some re-aranging in this 2 bedroom home of ours....so if you were wondering why we have been gone....this is what we've been up to....

Turning This....

This was our first baby/kids room.  Very Red and Brown with some other color accents....if Mark and I were going to be having this room there needed to be some major changes.....

Into this...

 This headboard we found at St. Vinnys (a local store like Goodwill) for $5 dollars!  So after paint, it cost us $7!! 

 Mark built this bookshelf out of random wood in our basement, after some chats with my designing eye friend Laura, we went yellow!  The guy at the paint store was saying that Mark was a good man picking out a color like that!  He definitley is but I didn't need paint to tell me that! 

 I need to hang my silver curtain rod yet, and get a chandelier.  I am looking for a black vintage looking one.

Here are the kids new bunk beds, a $10 garage sale find, after powder coating they look great!  They used to be white and red!

 We have some work to do in here yet...need to find Titus some bedding and Lillie is getting a new twin mattress because hers is a XL twin and it is shoved in there! 

The crib will go on the opposite wall.  When this room is all done we will post more pics.  In the mean time.....
