Feels Like Fall

So as you can see I have changed my background to match the weather! It is just like fall here in Iowa and I don't mind! I would love it if it stayed this way until December!

The kids and I just returned from Kentucky for a trip to Gma and Gpa Greats house and we had a wonderful time but we sure missed Mark and are glad to all be back together again! My dad's 1st day at his new job is the 14th of September and we are so excited to have them here very very soon!! Our first Rugby game is this Saturday at home! Ready or not here we go!

Mark, love, I know you probably think I have jumped the gun on this fall thing but that is why you love me! I am on the way to the store now to get some of that pumpkin spice creamer...just kidding.

Long Time No Post

Here is a map with all the states we have visited this summer! We have figured out we have been traveling since March and according to our calculations it won't stop till January! and I say BRING IT! So far this summer our family has traveled through 17 states and been from the Puget Sound to the Atlantic Ocean. We will be adding Tennessee in October and possibly Michigan to the map in November! There is one draw back however, I cannot grow a garden or maintain the weed population when I travel during the growing season! So I am not a garden master, I cannot even grow zinnias because I am not home long enough to maintain them. So if you drive by our house feel free to pick a weed or two, we are probably somewhere on the road.

Meanwhile when we are home we have really enjoyed meeting with our small group from church. We have been studying 1 and 2 Peter and spending some good time together. We also house sat/kid sat for some of our friends for a week. Mark and I were the parents of 8 again, they have 6 ages 9-19!

Lillie is potty training! It is going well and she is such a big girl, the biggest battle is me remembering to take her to the potty! It may take us sometime until we get to big girl pants but I say praise the Lord for using less diapers because they stay dryer longer!

God is so good and doing lots of fun and exciting things in our lives. We are building some great friendships and doing lots of healing from a year of craziness. I did a Psalms study and learned a bit about forgiveness and also have been reminded about God's crazy love for us all. I have an several opportunities to sing on our church's worship team and i LOVE it. I am honored and so blessed to be a part of it. It is incredibly organized. Mark and I have also been playing church softball, we are the pitcher catcher team :) We are one of the top teams and hoping to finish strong! Rugby starts up soon, so we will be busy with that. If you know of someone getting rid of a double jogger please let us know, we are going to need it for the games!

I hope you all are well, I will post pics soon.

Love to All!
