Party Girl
Thursday, December 11, 2008
It is really hard to believe that just one year ago our little Lillie girl was born.
Just a beautiful little bundle who would snuggle up in your arms and sleep so peacefully.

And now a year later she is a little bundle of .... energy.
Exploring everywhere, talking to anything, and full of smiles!
What a wonderful year it has been.
The Birthday Girl ready to get this party started
We couldn't get her a real dog.. but she doesn't seem to mind.
A new Nativity set from Grandma & Grandpa

Her new doll from Auntie Stephy foo foo

Don't worry the party hasn't even started yet.
Check back after Saturday, that's when the real party is!

Our Car is Awesome!
Mark and I have had quite the battle with our wonderful blazer...whats new right? What should you expect of an 11 year old car? We have had to jump it pretty much all this week, oh yes the week of snow and freezing temperatures. I alone spent an hour trying to get the dang thing to work on Friday, baby in tow and Lillie in my arms, it was so wonderful. Thankfully we have faithful friends as neighbors who could help me get through the terrible mess. Who would have known that batteries are suppose to last you what? 7 years? Ours is dated 2007! Which was LAST year for cryin' in the night. We are working on buying a new car hopefully beginning of the new year, but until then we will be dealing with Billiam the Blazer and his bag of awesome tricks. Mark said today, one things is for sure, when God does provide us with a new car we are going to be really, really thankful. That is most definitely true. While we wait we will be laughing as we listen to the lyrics we just heard on the TV by Randy Travis ...
Oh my battery's dead and my car won't start
But there's a nice warm fire burnin' in my heart
Oh I'm gonna be just fine
'Cause nothin's gonna bring me down at Christmas time
Oh my battery's dead and my car won't start
But there's a nice warm fire burnin' in my heart
Oh I'm gonna be just fine
'Cause nothin's gonna bring me down at Christmas time

Busy Girl!
So Mark and I were thinking about it and we were laughing that pretty much any picture we post of Lillie is her eating...so you are familiar with her high chair and her bib ... we know that! This is why, she is VERY busy and very active and it is so hard to get a picture of her unless she is confined to that high chair!
I hope that the few pictures below will bring some smiles to your face, like we said, she's busy...they may be blurry.
And playing in laundry baskets...
This is how she used to play in laundry baskets...
Her newest fetish, colanders and bowls...on her head.
She will play the whole bath time in this thing!
Oh but boy does she melt my heart. Thursday, December 4, 2008
